Art Songs for Children

This book is designed to encourage lyrical singing in a young person's voice. All art songs were chosen for a typical child's treble voice through about age 12 or 13, with vocal capabilities and range in mind. Also included are folksong arrangements in the spirit of art songs. The recordings feature performances by child singers, as well as accompaniments only, so children can practice at home. This collection of 13 songs for the young classical voice is a National Federation of Music Clubs 2024–2028 Selection.
